Murray Ritchie

Murray Ritchie has over 30 years’ experience in Occupational Health and Safety supported by a Master of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health from The University of Greenwich. Following a twenty-year career working internationally as a health and safety consultant he turned his attention to researching the challenges of building internal capacities for managing and leading safe work as it applies to multi-cultural workforces in developing countries. Based on the preliminary findings of this latest research he joined forces with a group of indigenous scholars, leaders, entrepreneurs and safety professionals to establish the First Nations Safety Council of BC.
